Walking in Humility and Love

True respect requires humility. In Philippians 2:3, we are told, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves." This teaching goes against the grain of today’s world, where people are encouraged to prioritize themselves above all else.

Humility is the key to breaking free from selfishness. It shifts our focus from what we can gain to how we can serve others. When we practice humility, we naturally begin to see the value in those around us. We respect others not because of what they can do for us, but because we recognize their inherent worth as God’s creation.
