[Begin in Stillness]
Heavenly Father,
I come before You today… not in fear, not in shame…
But in surrender.
My heart is weary, my mind is burdened, and my finances are in trouble.
But I know… that You are a God who sees.
You are Jehovah Jireh — the Lord who provides.
And I believe… You are not just the God of my soul — You are the God of my situation.
You are my Provider, my Shepherd, and my very present help in times of trouble.
I lift up to You my debt, my worries, my delays, and my dreams.
Lord, I need You — now more than ever.
[Acknowledge God's Holiness and Power]
You are holy. You are good. You are kind.
You own the cattle on a thousand hills.
You created the earth and all its resources.
You are faithful.
You are rich in mercy and overflowing in wisdom.
You own all things. You hold all things.
Nothing is too hard for You.
📖 Psalm 24:1 :
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”
And so, I begin not with my problem — but with praise.
Because when I see how big You are, my problems look smaller.
Father, You are not short of provision.
You are not limited.
Your power has no end.
And so I come to You — my unlimited God — to help me with my limited strength.
[Repentance and Humility]
Lord, if there has been any foolishness in my spending…
If I have trusted money more than You…
If I have tried to fill emotional needs with material things…
Please forgive me.
📖 Proverbs 28:13 :
“He who conceals his sins does not prosper,
but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”
Today, I confess — I need You.
I renounce every pattern of waste, laziness, comparison, and disobedience.
I don’t want to go in circles anymore.
Break me free, Lord — spiritually, mentally, and financially.
Father, I confess…
There have been times I misused what You gave me.
I’ve procrastinated. I’ve delayed decisions I should have made.
I’ve wasted hours, energy, and even money — not because I didn’t care — but because I didn’t plan well.
Please forgive me, Lord.
📖 James 4:17 :
“If anyone knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”
So I repent.
And I ask You: Give me a diligent heart.
Free me from the trap of delay, excuses, and passivity.
[Crying Out for Help]
God, I ask You —
Make a way where there seems to be no way.
📖 Isaiah 43:19 :
“See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Father, open doors I can’t see.
Release resources I never expected.
Send help — in divine and unexpected ways.
[Asking for Wisdom & Strategy]
Lord, You are not just the God of miracles — You are the God of wisdom.
So give me wisdom to steward every resource You've placed in my hands.
Whether it's my job… my income… my time…
Help me to use it intentionally.
📖 Ephesians 5:15–16 :
“Be very careful, then, how you live — not as unwise but as wise,
making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”
Help me plan wisely.
Spend thoughtfully.
Work diligently.
And grow steadily.
[Jesus’ Teaching: Be Shrewd, Be Wise]
Lord Jesus, You taught us something powerful in the parable of the shrewd manager.
📖 Luke 16:8–9 —
“The people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.
Use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.”
Father, give me that kind of clarity —
To think wisely… to act decisively… to use what I have with kingdom purpose.
Help me not just to survive — but to strategize with spiritual intelligence.
I don’t want to bury my talents.
I want to multiply them for Your glory.
[Freedom From Debt – Laying It Down]
Now Lord, I bring my debt before You.
The numbers, the shame, the weight, the fear…
I lay it all down.
You said:
📖 Matthew 11:28 —
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
So here I am.
God, I give You all the pressure I feel from unpaid bills, deadlines that scare me, and people or institutions I owe money to. I can’t carry this weight alone anymore — I’m handing it over to You.
And I ask You to open doors that no man can shut.
[Declaring God's Promises Over Debt]
📖 Psalm 23:1
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” I declare, by faith, that You are my Shepherd — and I lack nothing.
I believe that You are supplying all my needs.
📖 Philippians 4:19 .
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
📖 Psalm 35:27
“The Lord be exalted, who delights in the well-being of His servant.” I believe You take pleasure in my peace — not in my stress.
I will not fear.
You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. You remind me of this in
📖 2 Timothy 1:7 -
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
📖 Proverbs 3:5–6 —
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding… and He will make your paths straight.”
Ad so I trust You, Lord.
Even when I don’t see the full picture — I know You are working behind the scenes.
I speak these promises over my life.
Over my finances.
Over my mind.
Over my home
Over my family.
[Asking for Wisdom and Strategy]
Father, I don’t just want a miracle — I want Your mind.
Give me wisdom to manage well.
Teach me how to budget, how to wait, how to plan.
📖 James 1:5 :
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
Help me see where I’m wasting.
Show me how to multiply what I have.
Teach me to be content, to live humbly, to avoid new debt, and to focus on needs — not wants.
Let Your Spirit guide every financial decision I make.
[Asking for Strength to Act]
Lord, give me the strength to act on what You show me.
Not just to listen — but to do.
📖 James 1:22 —
“Do not merely listen to the word… Do what it says.”
Help me create a budget.
Give me grace to follow through.
Give me favor in my job.
Multiply my opportunities.
And help me say “no” to what drains me.
Help me say “yes” to what builds me.
[Desire to Bless Others]
And Father… I don’t want this freedom just for myself.
I want to bless others. Use me for your glory.
I want to be a giver.
I want to sow into people, families, missions, and the poor.
📖 2 Corinthians 9:8 —
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times,
having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
Lord, raise me up…
So that I can raise others.
Trust me with more — because I promise to be faithful with little.
Let generosity flow from me… not as a burden… but as worship.
[Breaking the Spirit of Lack and Slavery]
In the name of Jesus, I break the cycle of financial slavery.
I am not a borrower for life. I am a child of the King.
📖 Deuteronomy 28:12 says:
“You will lend to many nations but borrow from none.”
Lord, help me rise from the status of borrower to lender.
Deliver me from every mindset that says “I will always struggle.”
That is not Your Word. That is not Your will.
I reject the lies of the devil and hopelessness.
I embrace the truth of Your provision.
[Thanking God in Advance]
Thank You, Lord, for what You are doing — even now.
Thank You for unseen provision.
Thank You for divine connections.
Thank You for peace in my heart while You work on the solution.
📖 Romans 8:28:
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…”
So I thank You.
This debt is temporary.
My future is free.
My home is peaceful.
My heart is content.
And my soul is secure in You.
[Praying for Others in Debt]
Lord, I also lift up everyone around the world who’s carrying the heavy burden of debt.
Those who cry silently.
Those afraid to check their bank balance.
Those who are losing hope.
Let Your mercy meet them right where they are.
Release them, Lord. Provide for them.
Use me, one day, as a testimony of Your goodness — to encourage others to believe again.
[Closing in Surrender and Faith]
Father, I surrender this journey to You.
I won’t try to control everything — I will trust You daily.
Your Word says:
📖 Matthew 6:33 —
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
So I seek You.
I follow You.
And I wait for You.
I will not wait by doing nothing, but I will wait by walking with You—step by step, faithfully using what You’ve placed in my hands.”
I will walk with You daily… step by step, decision by decision… as You lead me out of debt with patience, persistence, and power.
Because You are with me.
📖 Romans 8:31 —
“If God is for us, who can be against us?”
Debt is not my destiny.
Freedom is.
And I am walking into it — fully awake, fully ready, fully trusting.
Because I know — You are faithful.
And You will do what You have promised.
In the mighty, victorious name of Jesus…
Amen.
